Lauren and Michael's wedding at Elms Barn

Rustic barn wedding in the autumnal countryside with a nod to the 1950's… 

Coloured petticoats, retro hollywood glamour hair and makeup with pretty flowers and 1950's bridesmaids dresses, sounds good huh? All these delicious things were part of Lauren and Michael’s big day. Lauren, the bubbly bride-to-be looked absolutely stunning in her vintage style wedding dress and cute accessories and her 3 gorgeous bridesmaids rocked their vibrant, floral 1950's style bridesmaid dresses while hubby to be Michael and his groomsmen all looked dapper in grey suites and leather sneakers. 

The wedding took place at Elms Barn in Toft Monks - a beautiful converted rustic barn in the middle of the Norfolk countryside where the ceremony and reception both took place. Inside the venue there was romantic lighting and lot’s of candles which made everything look and feel rather magical. After Lauren and Michael’s were wed,  the party got started and it was great to have some alternative music playing throughout the day; we heard a bit of blues, rock and maybe even some country vibes and once the DJ got started for the evening reception, friends and family of all ages were throwing some serious shapes; There was even a conga going at one point! 

Michael, Lauren and all their guests were such good fun and as their wedding photographers we really felt like one of the wedding party rather than someone who was paid to be there!
